Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health
This building is a photographer’s dream. Any search will bring up literally hundreds of photos of the Lou Ruvo Center, and it’s pretty obvious why. The stainless steel building stands out because of its unique architecture, and it has an irresistible draw. This is another one of my renderings of the building. As I gain [...]
My Youngest Granddaughter
Of course she’s beautiful! But no matter how hard you look you won’t see *me* anywhere. This is definitely her momma’s baby! My oldest granddaughter, on the other hand, as a baby was the spittin’ image of me as a baby!
Government Center – Walkway
From a distance, it is an impressive desert sandstone monolith. Up close it is, um, an impressive desert sandstone monolith. Well.
Ivory Dragon
The piece itself was far more complex and quite beautiful, but I was particularly taken with the dragon, which perched itself at the very top.
Me!
Well, 1200 fellow publishers and I didn’t quite make it – we got the full Simon Cowell treatment – but I wanted to show you the photo I used to promote Vegas Wineaux, which is, admittedly, a wine site rather than a food site.
The “Brain Building”
However, last year saw the completion of the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health which has taken crazy (get it?) architecture to a whole new level.
Zin and Cigars
There was a cigar tent outside of the main tasting building, and we went there to enjoy a freshly hand-rolled cigar – a great accompaniment to the Zin!
Rusty Project Car – Merc Future Beauty
Truly a classic work of art, I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished. I have several photos of this one.
Inside Villicana
A little creative application of lighting techniques and now we see how quaint and warm the tasting room is at Villicana.
1956 Packard
The owner indicated that it was made the last year that Packard was in business.
The Gallery & Me
As a former art major, I’ve always had a full appreciation of fine arts. Today's definition of "art" can be skewed. This is my interpretation of what art is as seen through the lens of my camera.
