This was kind of fun. From the front – actually from any angle – this looks like a pretty stock 1948 Chevy Pickup Truck. But as the owner told me, it’s ’47, ’48, ’49, ’51, and (he thinks) a few bits of ’61 thrown in. The idea was not to bring it back to stock, [...]

I know what this is because my ex-husband Larry and I had a similar project. The only difference is that ours was a panel van – no windows. Taken at the end of the day, the sun was setting. The original picture was very dark, but I loved the stance of the truck with the sun shining over it. It took a little doing, but I think that it turned out quite nicely.
